Finswimming is a watersport, where athletes use a monofin or normal swimfins in order to swim either on the water surface or underwater. Finswimmers are only allowed to use their body strength , and compete in championships where the winner is the fastest finswimmer for a specific distance. Finswimming is also known as dolphinism, as the athletes imitate the movement of the dolphins.
